Know the Snakes in Oman

Oman is an amazing country in the Middle East to boast about the richness of the
wildlife and what nature has to offer.  Now let us look at the snakes in Oman.
This will be useful information for those who have no idea about what snakes are found
in this country.  But remember that snakes are the most misunderstood creatures on earth.

I pick up a snake which is listed among the 10 most dangerous snakes in the world.
It is called the Saw-scaled Viper or Carpet Viper (Echis carinatus).  It is also
classed as the No. 1 killer in Oman.  This species is found in many countries but
the ones coming from the desert environment are supposed to have highly toxic
venom than those from tropical parts of the world.  This is a fairly common snake
and frequents house gardens, among plants, under roots of trees and among the
discarded waste material.

I call this a very pretty snake but if you leave it alone it will not harm anyone.
